Minutes of the last meeting accepted.

OOH statement-letter from Paul Creighton asking if "on-site" could be added to the cover that will eb given for a phase 1 registrar. This was agreed by those present. Also wondered how we were going to assess "competency". This was decided to be very much up to each trainer as it was difficult to be too prescriptive with this.

Peer Appraisal-the results of this will be brought to the July meeting to be discussed.

Checking-in-All present reported in on their current registrars and how they felt things were going.

Libraries in training practices-Both Billy and Karen have been asked by Paul Creighton, as part of their re-accreditation interviews, to ask the NNTG to look at what constitutes a library in a training practice. This was to attempt to try and get some common features between practices. It was discussed and felt that a library could be in 3 parts-books/internet.CD roms. It was felt that there was a lack of knowledge of what was available on the internet by some of the attendees, who didn't feel they could make any decisions til they knew more. The next meeting will therefore be held at Wellway Surgery and be a presentation hopefully by Brad on what is currently available both on CD-roms and over the internet. Billy will ask Brad if he can do this.

E-mail contact-a few people (Charles, Chris S, Stephen, Alistair, Alan and Saul) have still not joined the yahoo group which is making contact with these members more difficult. Billy will send further e-mail to these people to invite them to join and PLEASE could you do this.

MAY MEETING.

This will be on 13/5/04-pm and all day on 14/5/04-at Embleton Hall.
