Art as a teacher
- Cast off all preconceptions
- Close observation eg cubism
Join these two together and consider that preconceptions are invariably mistaken and misleading. For example: "junkies" or "neurotics". Look at it like a (natural) child. Compare this with approaching the the patient's entrance into the consulting room without preconceptions. Look beneath the surface and seek the other agenda.
