Neonates
You are asked to review a one week old baby. It is mums first baby, born at term after an uncomplicated pregnancy and she is struggling with breast feeding. The baby seems to be on the breast every couple of hours. On examination you detect a systolic murmur at the left sternal border.
What else should you look for in terms of your cardiac examination?
If the baby seems otherwise well what should you do about the murmur?
