For children aged under 2 years - Heptavalent PneumococcalConjugate vaccine (Prevenar).

All children over 2 years of age - 23-Valent Pneumococcal vaccine

All adults - 23-Valent Pneumococcal vaccine

Hib vaccine for all patients who have not already received it.
These recommendations also apply to those patients awaiting surgery for a cochlear implant.
