Prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours
Oral terbutaline 5-10mg

attend A&E
Aspirate 50ml blood from Corpora and apply manual pressure to the penis for several minutes

Aspirate a further 50ml blood from Corpora and irrigate with warm heparinised saline solution. Again apply manual pressure
Fails
Inject 200mcg Plenylepinephrine into corpora. Consider a further 500mcg if this fails
Fails
Surgical treatment. Contact on-call Urologist
