Your wart and the surrounding skin have been treated with Liquid Nitrogen, a very cold substance which, when applied to the skim, usually results in blister formation similar to a burn. This will lift the wart so that it can dry with the blister and fall off. You may experience some pain, which should be easily controlled with simple pain relieving drugs, e.g. paracetamol or soluble aspirin.

There is no need to cover the treated areas if the blisters remain intact.

If they get large and tense, they may be pricked using a needle sterilised in a flame, and a simple dry dressing applied.

DO NOT APPLY CREAM OR OINTMENT OF ANY DESCRIPTION
