clearance testFor this test, all the urine you pass has to be collected, in the container provided, over a period of 24 hours. During this time we also need a sample of blood.
The laboratory likes these tests to be finished and brought in on Mondays or Thursdays.
For example:
- On Sunday morning at 9.0 am, empty your bladder but do not keep the urine. From then on save all the urine you pass, in the container provided. On Monday morning, bring your container of urine to the surgery at 8.45 am. You will then have a blood test taken. At 9.0 am empty your bladder and put this into the container. Then you can go home!
- On Wednesday morning at 9.0 am, empty your bladder but do not keep the urine. From then on save all the urine you pass, in the container provided. On Thursday morning, bring your container of urine to the surgery at 8.45 am. You will then have a blood test taken. At 9.0 am empty your bladder and put this into the container. Then you can go home!
