SignTranslate is a web-based communication aid to help medical staff communicate with Deaf BSL users, and foreign non-English speakers. Think of it as a "talking, signing medical phrasebook" online. As well as 2 regional dialects of British Sign Language (by video clips), the site translates into 12 foreign spoken languages with audio.
