Reselection and deselection

Continuing as an appraiser will depend on

• Performing an adequate number of appraisals annually (a minimum of 3) or undergoing retraining in that year
• Attending ongoing  appraiser training provided by the locality GP Tutor and the annual study day
• Complying with the NAT appraisal system
• Providing feedback forms to the appraisal administrator.

In the event of adverse feedback from appraisees or the lack of fulfilment of the above criteria, a discussion with the GP Tutor will occur. If the issue is not resolved, the arbitration procedure will be invoked.
