Introduction

TACT PMS is striving to ensure that patients with hypertension have as BP 140/85 or lower. According to the rule of halves, 50% of patients have hypertension which is adequately controlled.

Standards

60% of patients with hypertension should have a BP of 140/85 or lower.

Comment

Each doctor falls short of a 60% standard, the overall standard is below even 50%, based on the last BP reading.
